Amount of money in stimulus package:$787,000,000,000.
Number of jobs created or saved by the stimulus package: 30,083.
Dollars spent by government for each job saved: $26,160,955.

UPDATE: Michigan pathetically creates 397 jobs from spending $620 million. Still, that’s only $1.5 million per person, which is much better than the national average.
