The Left: Haiti May Be Hell, But Whatever You Do, Don’t Send In The Military

Boy, the left sure does hate our military.  Right now, the whipping branch is the Marine Corp, whose former members invaded a lush, unspoiled world in the movie Pocahontas … I mean Avatar.

Speaking of former members of the military, I don’t know if President Obama or Janet Napolitano like or dislike veterans, but their Department of Homeland Security issued a report that said, “The return of military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists capable of carrying out violent attacks.”  That doesn’t exactly seem like love.  In fact, it seems more like a warning label for law enforcement that veterans are dangerous.

But here’s the irony.  Who is it that these same military hating liberals turn to when something like the hellish Haitian earthquake happens?  Who is it that can deliver the people, the food, the water, the supplies, even an instant hospital to the survivors? You know the answer I know the answer, and they know the answer.  There really is only one organization capable of handling a job like this, just like they handled the Christmas Tsunami.  It’s the hated-by-liberals United States military, in this case especially the Navy.

USNS Comfort (T-AH-20)

USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70)

It’s ironic to see the hypocrisy in action.  Liberals never have kind words for the military, until they need the kind of response that only the military can provide.
